1. Information we may collect

To work correctly in emergency situations, StaySafe may request access to the following data:

• GPS location: used to send your approximate location to your emergency contact during SOS events.
• Emergency contacts: phone numbers entered by the user in order to send SOS alerts.
• Emergency information: optional information such as blood type, allergies or conditions, entered voluntarily by the user.
• Motion sensor data: used locally on the device for fall detection.

2. How we use data

StaySafe uses data only for app functionality:

• Sending SOS alerts to the emergency contact selected by the user.
• Sending GPS location during emergency events.
• Displaying emergency information when needed.
• Detecting possible falls locally on the device.

3. Sharing data with third parties

We do not sell, rent or trade personal data.

Data may be shared only with the emergency contact selected by the user through SMS or emergency alerts.

4. Fall detection and background services

StaySafe may monitor device motion using the accelerometer for fall detection. This analysis happens locally on the device and is used only for emergency alerts.

The app may run foreground or background safety services to detect falls, display full-screen emergency alerts and send SOS messages to configured contacts.

5. Sensitive permissions

StaySafe may request permissions for SMS, phone calls, location, notifications and full-screen alerts in order to perform emergency functions.

6. User rights

Users can access, modify or delete their saved information from the app settings. Uninstalling the app removes locally stored data.

7. Advertising and selling data

StaySafe does not sell personal data and does not trade user information with third parties.
